Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.

When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.

The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.

The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

The quality of this harness is superb! Although a little stiff, my boy seems comfortable and I'm sure over time it will soften. The colour is beautiful, and it works like a dream. My boy has responded so well to it. I'm attaching my lead to the D ring at the base of his neck, and the difference is night and day. I could not recommend this harness enough! I added the personalisation and had "Do not feed" put on the harness. This is really good quality stitching and stands out clearly. I'll definitely be back for more!!!

We were absolutely in love with everything, esoecially when it came in the mail and we seen that the color we picked looked even more beautiful in person! However I unfortunately didn’t even get to take My babygirl for even a long distance walk before she had accidentily got ahold of the leash and chewed it in a soot right in half where we cannot walk her with it. I really would love to have a new leash because that kinda is a key factor not only for her to be riding in style and matching but Also for the walks to be as effective because it was truly an amazing leash i could tell when i first put my hand on it it was unlike any other one and I am sad we do not have the leash now

This is by far the best purchase I have made, we use to use a slip lead and with having a large breed dog and a shoulder injury she just didnt want to listen, well as soon as this harness went on and the front clip was attached it was like she had been perfectly trained to walk to heel. An absolutely massive difference, love having 3 different attachment points as depending on what we are doing I will use a different point. This is much sturdier than the typical harnesses , it’s more comfortable for my bulldog Freya. Shes a strong puller and I can control her much better with this harness. It’s of better quality than others in the same price range, Im confident this one will last much longer than usual two months. I love the shade of purple and it looks more attractive too. After adding our female boxer it was clear that she had never been walked with a harness and was terrible on a collar only so we started with a slip on BB harness. I wanted something to be able to control any pulling so switched them both to the tri harnesses. With the BB harnesses I can walk them with more control. I added the traffic lead for him as he is nervous so allows full control when he feels nervous. Would have got matching for them both but the purple is out of stock!

FAQs

How to put on a dog harness

Start by unbuckling the harness and having your dog sit or stand still next to you. Slip the harness over their head and pull the straps underneath their tummy. Or, if you have a step-in harness, place it on the floor and help your dog place their feet correctly, before pulling it up over their back. Fasten it up securely, making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, and adjust accordingly.

What is the best dog harness?

The best dog harness really depends on the breed, size, and activity level of your dog. The comfortable Hurricane Harness features a useful handle and is super lightweight, while the Premium Harness is a great all-rounder for any dog. The traditional slip-on harnesses offer quick and easy fitting, while step-in harnesses might be better for dogs that dislike harnesses going over their head. And if your dog pulls, the TRI-Harness helps with training to prevent excessive pulling on the lead. You can read more in our Dog Harness Buying Guide. All of our harnesses are lined with Neoprene which is soft and helps avoid harsh burns unlike other brands.

How to measure a harness for a dog

To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls. 

If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.

How to use a dog harness correctly

To ensure you’re using your dog harness correctly, you need to make sure it’s properly fitted. This means that it’s tight enough to prevent the harness moving, but loose enough to allow your pooch to move comfortably. Attach your lead to your chosen D-ring, whether that’s on their back or their chest, and get ready for your adventure!
