About personalisation
Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.
When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.
Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.
We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?
1. They're unique to you and your dog.
2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.
3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.
4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.
The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

Brilliant harness the best Mocha has ever had!
5 stars 🌟
I’m going to buy more for my other two dogs! 💙🐾
Tri-harness size A (not the mini A). I was worried this might be a bit big for my Spud, but I was wrong. My pug is a big strong boy and its perfect, cant fault it. Its made well, feels very strong, its weighty but my boy can handle it. Staff were very helpful when I queried about the fit. He has broken many harness these past couple of years that he's been with me and I wish I'd come here sooner.
Fast delivery, very well packaged and the quality of the product is second to none. Will definitely be purchasing more for our boy, Otis. I would highly recommend!
Since getting this harness it has been amazing, for only having it for around a week it has already shown its qualities and my dog already loves it she feels and looks for confident wearing it and provides her with an incredible amount of comfort! Totally recommend.
Love the harness so does our girl. Color suits her really well. Only tried it once but it made her pull less with the front clip. Material looks great and fits comfortably. Only issue is the sizing I feel like she could have slightly smaller neck and need extra inch on the chest
Absolute quality product...strong, sturdy and very well made. Fits Dolly comfortably and looks amazing on my Bulldog Dolly.
Would highly recommend and will be purchasing again very soon x
We absolutly love the Bully Billows harnesses, Günter is a stocky dog, the bully harnesses are honestly the only ones that fit him properly and are well worth their weight in gold. They're built to last and he finds them comfortable. 10/10.
Chose a small size in the colour tan for my 3 year old staffy. His old harness was rubbing under his arm and he would limp after long walks. This harness came and I didn’t even need to alter the size it fits perfect and really makes him stand out on walks, very nicely designed so you can hook your lead up to different places comes in very handy.
We normally always go for the premium comfort harness which we absolutely LOVE but we wanted to change it up every now and then so opted for this instead and wow 🤩 we love everything about it - the quality, how easy it is to put on, the colour. Meko looks so comfortable in this harness. Delivery was super fast.
Thankyou BullyBillows x
My Bulldog Paco used to pull on every other lead / harness we bought him then we got him this one and within 2 weeks he’s like a different dog. Walks alongside me all the time now. Great investment. Also bought the matching lead. Now look forward to walkies
Brilliant harness and lead ,helps so much with all the point,s for the lead, stops the pulling and I can redirect her on walk,s now, fit,s well and would recommend ,very strong harness I know I am in control not the other way round, I will be looking to buy the matching collar at some point, thankyou Bully Billow,s,
This is my second bully billows harness after being really happy with the first. They're great quality and look great. Gave this one a try because my dog is reactive and bad for pulling at the lead, nothing else I've tried has worked. So far so good with this harness though, the D-loop on the chest directs his attention off to the side when he pulls rather than just holding him back. After only a couple of walks he has started walking by my side rather than trying to charge ahead. He has also stopped trying to pull towards other dogs. Definitely recommend this style of harness to anyone who has a reactive dog
My beautiful 9 month old English Bull Terrier pup is a backwards pulling escape artist - from harnesses and collars. I went on the EBT forum asking for help and lots and lots recommended Bully Billows Tri Harness which I also use with their double lead and slip collar. I had it delivered to my holiday destination urgently so I bc like safely take him out on walks safely again. Amazing strongly made good looking products. Love it thank you.
Great harness and lead combo. He’s stopped pulling making walks much less stressful.
Well made and sturdy which you need for a 30kg British Bulldog
His size is just in between two sizes, his neck is a good fit but his torso is at maximum
Bonnie has been such a puller, so we decided to purchase from Bully Billows after reading the reviews. From the first walk, I had much more control, she wasn't able to pull the way she was and we managed a long 40 minute walk, which was so calm and steady. Absolute brilliant purchase and would definitely recommend! I will be a returning customer.
I have two of these harnesses for my two young Labradors. After a bit of experimentation I’ve got them fitted correctly and they are working well. We all need practise with the anti pulling fastening before I end up on Social Media not as an Influencer I hasten to add!!
The biggest plus is it’s so much better than a collar and lead and I do have more control. It’s a work in progress but more positives than negatives, I’m a happy customer.
I honestly was so against harnesses as I have such a strong dog but it has helped so much with her heal command and she walks so much better with it !!
Bonjour ! Surprise par la qualité et les finitions sont magnifiques ! J'ai pris la taille C pour ma femelle staff il taille parfaitement même si elle grossit il lui ira encore longtemps. Le prénom sur le harnais est parfait et la couleur comme sur le site. Thank you so much for everything the order is better than i could imagine ! Takara is gorgeous with it ❤️
Start by unbuckling the harness and having your dog sit or stand still next to you. Slip the harness over their head and pull the straps underneath their tummy. Or, if you have a step-in harness, place it on the floor and help your dog place their feet correctly, before pulling it up over their back. Fasten it up securely, making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, and adjust accordingly.
What is the best dog harness?
The best dog harness really depends on the breed, size, and activity level of your dog. The comfortable Hurricane Harness features a useful handle and is super lightweight, while the Premium Harness is a great all-rounder for any dog. The traditional slip-on harnesses offer quick and easy fitting, while step-in harnesses might be better for dogs that dislike harnesses going over their head. And if your dog pulls, the TRI-Harness helps with training to prevent excessive pulling on the lead. You can read more in our Dog Harness Buying Guide. All of our harnesses are lined with Neoprene which is soft and helps avoid harsh burns unlike other brands.
How to measure a harness for a dog
To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls.
If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.
How to use a dog harness correctly
To ensure you’re using your dog harness correctly, you need to make sure it’s properly fitted. This means that it’s tight enough to prevent the harness moving, but loose enough to allow your pooch to move comfortably. Attach your lead to your chosen D-ring, whether that’s on their back or their chest, and get ready for your adventure!
