Your Frenchie has opinions about everything - including what they wear. For this breed, a lightweight collar with a smooth, soft lining is the way to go - nothing too chunky or heavy, and hardware that sits flat without catching on their short coat. We'd always recommend attaching the lead to a harness rather than the collar on walks, just to keep any pressure away from that flat-faced throat of theirs. The collar is perfect for ID tags though - and for looking excellent, which your Frenchie already has covered.
Our collars are made to be worn all day without any fuss - which for a breed as dramatic as the Frenchie, is the least we can do.

If there's one piece of kit worth getting right for your Frenchie, it's the harness. Because of that gorgeous flat face, any pressure on the throat during walks is best avoided - and a well-fitted harness keeps everything on the chest where it belongs, making walks more comfortable and a lot safer. It's a small change that makes a big difference every single day.
The thing with Frenchies is that their shape is very much their own - broad chest, short legs, built like a little tank - so adjustability is everything. Look for padded panels and multiple adjustment points that work with their silhouette rather than against it.

Frenchies are compact, characterful and walk with an energy that's entirely their own. What you need is a lead that matches - lightweight, well-made, and not so heavy it's doing your dog a disservice.
