Product description

The Original BullyBillows 2.5cm Combat® Collar

Built for strength, security and everyday control, the original BullyBillows 2.5cm Combat® Collar was the first of its kind in the world.

Featuring triple-stitched nylon, a secure 4mm stainless steel D-Ring and our specially crafted bespoke Combat® clip, this collar is designed for reliable performance every time you step out with your dog.

The 2.5cm Combat Collar
® is perfect for everyday walks and training; you can't go amiss with this collar in your collection.

Key Features:

  • Secure Combat® Clip - Our Combat® clip has undergone extensive pressure testing to provide added confidence and security when walking your dog. The clip is designed to open only when both levers are pressed simultaneously, helping prevent accidental release and keeping your dog securely connected.

  • Added Control When You Need It - For additional control and peace of mind, the collar features a double-stitched handle. Ideal for situations where you need to quickly and securely guide your dog, the handle provides convenient close control and can be particularly useful in emergencies.

  • Comfort Meets Durability - The internal layer of the collar is lined with soft Neoprene, which is odourless and quick-drying. This helps provide a comfortable fit while reducing the risk of rubbing against your dog's fur - particularly during everyday wear.

  • Adjustable Fit - The collar can be easily adjusted to suit your dog's size. Simply thread the nylon through the metal adjuster to extend or shorten the collar until you achieve the desired fit.

  • Built for Everyday Use - Suitable for daily use across all breeds, the 2.5cm Combat® Collar is trusted by a wide range of professional handlers, including those working with police, military and security dogs.

FAQs

What is the best dog collar?

The best dog collar really depends on the breed, size and activity level of your dog. Slip-on collars are great to assist training your dog that pulls, whereas a Combat collar is perfect for everyday use and comes in various thicknesses, from 2.5cm for smaller breeds to 5cm for XL breeds. Our pin buckle collars are also a great choice among medium to XL dog owners, and the Billowthane collar range is 100% waterproof, ideal for pooches who love water! Read more in our Collar Buying Guide to find the right collar for your dog.

How tight should a dog collar be?

Similar to harnesses, a dog collar should be snug but not too tight. We’d recommend being able to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck - if you can fit more than two fingers, the collar may be too loose and could slip off. If you can’t fit two fingers, it might be too tight for your dog causing discomfort and potentially breathing difficulties.

Do dogs have to wear collars?

It’s a legal requirement for dogs to wear collars with ID tags when in public. The tag needs to display your name and address to help reunite you and your dog if they ever get lost. We know that a lot of owners prefer using harnesses, but a collar and ID tag are essential to comply with UK law when you’re out in public, so make sure you’ve got both on if needs be.

How do you measure a dog collar?

To measure a dog collar, wrap a flexible measuring tape around the base (the lower sections) of your dog’s neck whilst leaving enough room to fit two fingers in between. A lot of collars are adjustable, which is ideal for a puppy as you can simply extend the collar as they grow into it.
