Tailored for English Bulldogs

Are you looking for the perfect harness, collar or lead for your English Bulldog? Well, you've come to the right place. Here at BullyBillows, we know that English Bulldogs are one of life's great characters - stubborn, loveable, and completely on their own schedule. So we've built gear that works with that stubbornness rather than against it - comfortable enough that they'll actually tolerate wearing it, secure enough that you stay in control when they decide the walk is over. Shop the range below and kit out your Bulldog today.

Fun Fact:

Did you know the English Bulldog is one of Britain's oldest native breeds, with records dating back to the 13th century? They've come a very long way from their original working roots - these days their main pursuits are food, sleep, and being as dramatically uncooperative as possible on walks. We respect the commitment.

FAQs

What size harness does an English Bulldog need?

Most English Bulldogs need a Medium or Large - their broad chest often means they size up compared to dogs of a similar weight. Always measure chest girth and neck circumference and check our size calculator.

Why does my English Bulldog pull backwards on the lead?

This is the classic Bulldog opposition reflex - they feel tension and instinctively pull against it. A well-fitted harness with a back attachment rather than a collar helps reduce this, as does keeping the lead loose and rewarding forward movement rather than tensioning up when they stop.

Is a harness or collar better for an English Bulldog?

A harness is the better choice for walks - it avoids throat pressure and gives you more comfortable control with a breed this shape. A collar is great for ID tags and everyday wear.

Are English Bulldogs hard to walk?

They have their moments - particularly when they decide the walk is over before you do. A well-fitted harness, a relaxed lead and a pocketful of treats gets you surprisingly far with this breed.
