About personalisation
Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.
When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.
Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.
We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?
1. They're unique to you and your dog.
2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.
3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.
4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.
The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

We have so many goodies from BullyBillows, from harnesses, leads, dog chews and beds, they tick all the boxes to keep my precious pugs happy, cosy, safe and oh so stylish!
@swedishbulldogfamily
Finding products that our bulldogs genuinely feel comfortable wearing changed everything for us, and that’s exactly what BullyBillows gave us.
Brilliant harness with a great fit, helps a lot with training, and would highly recommend to anyone. Fast delivery, really good communication from the team.
Perfect fit for our female British Bulldog!
We previously had a Julius-K9 harness, but she pulls so much that the strap around her neck was causing her to choke herself every time she pulled. She can also be a little reactive towards larger dogs, so we found we were lacking a bit of control when she decided to lunge.
This harness is absolutely perfect. The straps sit in a Y shape across her chest, so there’s nothing sitting around her neck to choke her. The front D-ring is a game changer, especially when used alongside a training lead, as it gives us much more control if she starts to lunge.
She definitely wasn’t a happy bunny when she realised that every time she pulled, she ended up doing a U-turn! 😂 But it’s already making walks much more manageable and controlled.
Really impressed with the fit, design and quality. For a strong, stocky dog like a British Bulldog, it’s exactly what we were looking for.
10/10 and definitely worth the money! 🐶❤️
Lovely harness, get lots of compliments on the collar.
Gus is very sensitive to things on his skin, and this is the first harness we've tried that hasn't bothered or annoyed him to wear.
Lovely harness the sizing seemed to be a bit off we expected there to be some give but he is right on the cusp of it being to small and not fitting but that might be us miss measuring. He is still growing so we will probably end up sizing out of the harness fairly soon. Fen is a strong wolfhound so we wanted something to act as a back up handle which would hold up to 11stone of dog so the collar is a good back up
Fantastic quality and fit as expected from BB. It's comfortable, easy to put on and provides better control when startled.
Stan loves his harness so much he collects it to wear in the house 💁🏼♀️.
We love this colour! The TRI harnesses have helped my dog by reducing pulling and has enabled me to have better control. We’ve tried other harnesses and this is by far the best for us! Great quality, great price, they wash well too!
Brought the no pull harness along with a new lead for our 2 year old GSD, Arnie. We had adopted him in April and when he pulled on a normal lead you felt like you were the one being taken for a walk! Arnie loves the harness and walks much better with it on. The orange colour has stayed vibrant despite trips to the beach and many muddy puddles and is easy to wash.
My pooch and I have suffered each other for 9 years of lead walks, each wishing the other would just do what we wanted… she wanted to walk in front and at the end of any length of lead she was provided. Whereas I just wanted her to walk beside me because she doesn’t know the way and she rips my shoulder out of joint every time she gets a whiff of a nice smell that’s out of reach. I love her dearly but this has always been a bit of a block in our relationship. I’ve bought many different collars and harnesses, I’ve spent lots of treats and a brilliant trainer but to no avail in this department. I thought I’d waste another £50 on yet another failed harness but to my surprise, it’s worked!!! She’s comfortable but doesn’t pull when the lead is clipped on the front loop. It’s a miracle to be honest. She can sniff around but she doesn’t lunge at things, she trots along beside me and if she does start getting in front, a gentle tightening on the lead is all it take to bring her back. It’s just such a pleasant experience to walk her now.
In addition, my partner went on to buy one for his reactive, escape artist Belgium Mali. It hasn’t particularly stopped her pulling (she’s not bad though tbh) but with the lead clipped to both the harness and her collar (a 5cm also bought from BB), she is secure which means walks are a more relaxed affair knowing that she can’t wriggle out.
Highly recommended :)
I really like this harness after having trouble getting one that fits my Irish Setters long chest. It does slide around a little even with the neck on the tighest setting but overall very happy with the shape and quality
This is a really nice, well made harness. It tends to twist a bit when I use the front clip but my dog doesn’t seem bothered and is happy to wear it. And since the belly strap sits further back than other harnesses we’ve tried, hopefully it won’t rub him raw under his armpits.
We used to buy a “strong” harness that cost 4-5 times more than Bullybillows but the stitching came undone and the fabric split. We have had Bullybillows for a few years now and love how well made they are. We love the choice of design and colours. We buy the tri-harness as like the option of the front lead attachment but don’t need to use as much these say as Woody no longer pulls so much. The tri-harness is also great as Woody can be a bit of an escapologist and never had any issues with these. As you can see we walk through woods, fields etc and get covered in mud but no worries as our Bullybillows harnesses wash so easily. We have so many colour - just need an olive green and would love a tartan one!
Purchased this harness, as advised by my trainer for my super strong German shepherd who pulls like a train. It’s actually a life changer, thanks Bullybillows 😀
Fantastic harness. Callie is a rescue who had no lead training. Using the front D ring and a bullybillows double ended lead, attached to her collar, has helped with her loose lead walking training.
What more is their to say than you would be a fool not to choose bullybillow’s tri harness I have two sets now 1 orange and one grey amazing harness and looks good the quality of the whole bully billows range is amazing really durable.
Best quality harness and collar we've had so far!
My rescue girly loved to pull, she's a work in progress but I definitely feel like shes more secure and in control.
Orange is fab on her, but every other colour is on our list 😍
Get loads of complaints how great the set looks it’s fantastic quality and worth every penny you really see the difference compared to cheap collar leads and harnesses
Had this harness a few weeks now. Fits out big dog perfectly, no rubbing and fits over her chunky head nice and easily. Been muddied up a few times and comes clean without much effort. Feels sturdy and safe, can't recommend this harness enough will be buying more products from Bully Billows.
Thankyou so much!
Start by unbuckling the harness and having your dog sit or stand still next to you. Slip the harness over their head and pull the straps underneath their tummy. Or, if you have a step-in harness, place it on the floor and help your dog place their feet correctly, before pulling it up over their back. Fasten it up securely, making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, and adjust accordingly.
What is the best dog harness?
The best dog harness really depends on the breed, size, and activity level of your dog. The comfortable Hurricane Harness features a useful handle and is super lightweight, while the Premium Harness is a great all-rounder for any dog. The traditional slip-on harnesses offer quick and easy fitting, while step-in harnesses might be better for dogs that dislike harnesses going over their head. And if your dog pulls, the TRI-Harness helps with training to prevent excessive pulling on the lead. You can read more in our Dog Harness Buying Guide. All of our harnesses are lined with Neoprene which is soft and helps avoid harsh burns unlike other brands.
How to measure a harness for a dog
To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls.
If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.
How to use a dog harness correctly
To ensure you’re using your dog harness correctly, you need to make sure it’s properly fitted. This means that it’s tight enough to prevent the harness moving, but loose enough to allow your pooch to move comfortably. Attach your lead to your chosen D-ring, whether that’s on their back or their chest, and get ready for your adventure!
