About personalisation
Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.
When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.
Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.
We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?
1. They're unique to you and your dog.
2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.
3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.
4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.
The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

Best non pull harness. The only one that actually works for my bull breed
Callie Mae L.5/5Verified
Absolutely love our recent harnesses from Bully Billows! 🐾
We got personalised ones for our two Staffies and the quality is honestly amazing — you can tell straight away they’re really well made. The clasps are super robust, everything feels secure, and they just look great too.
I also picked up a training lead for our younger rescue pup who’s working on her lead manners (aka learning not to pull! 😅). The front D-ring on the harness paired with the training lead has been a game changer — it’s made a real difference already.
For our older girl (in the video), we use the back clip which is perfect for our usual walks and makes it really easy to unclip when we’re out and about.
Genuinely so impressed with the quality and design — practical, sturdy, and clearly made with real dogs in mind. Would highly recommend! 🐶💛

best product for my staff 🥰❤️
Celina Z.5/5Verified
Harness is premium quality which feels safe and secure. Callie seems to be very comfortable in this (just to clarify Callie is my dog 😂) This has 100% improved our walks and my wife is impressed how this has reduced pulling on the lead.

Absolutely incredible harness! Wouldn’t go to another place, this is the only brand I feel confident to walk my 30kg puppy on especially in crowds! Will be a constant customer!

Mia W.5/5Verified
Amazing! This is our 3rd bully harness and this one is my favourite! Is so sturdy and strong! I Love all the clips for different walks 10/10!
Shani H.5/5Verified
This harness is amazing it's completely changed the way our puppy walks, she used to pull like a train now she can easily be corrected and it makes her pay more attention to us. Even my kids can walk her now!
Phillipa A.5/5Verified
So I’m on my 3rd harness within a month as Maddie the Baddie got hold of the first 2 and chewed the clasp. These harnesses are brilliant though and worth every penny. Maddie pulls like a train and despite lots of training, doesn’t give a monkeys when she sees another dog she wants to play with, squirrels, foxes, birds, cats or any object she decides she wants to play with. Wearing her harness, means I actually can control her and helping the supposed loose lead walking. I say supposed as it depends on her mood. This harness is a total godsend and I am praying that she doesn’t get hold of it again. Bully billows customer service has been fantastic and I highly recommend this to anyone with a strong, stubborn dog who thinks training is for the weak! Brilliant must have for any cheeky dogs.

My staffie loves her new Bully Burrows Tri harness and will actually come to us to put it on. It seems extremely comfortable for her and that is the most important element. She continues to do the roll in it and any mud or dirt can be sponges off. We also love the front and top D ring to make walks and our little girl happy.
Rachel H.5/5Verified
It fits lovely nows shes matching with her son
Lauren S.5/5Verified
Love this harness! Super easy to use, good fit and definitely helps her not to pull!
Liz C.5/5Verified
Amazing bit of kit!! She was a puller, instantly the strain and tension was almost gone. We're both so much happier walkies is fun again. Totally recommend to family and friends
Sj B.5/5Verified
Loving the new lead and harness I bought for Ruby makes walking her so much easier. Ruby tends to pull when walking and can be hard to control but with her new items walking has become more enjoyable again
Claire S.5/5Verified
Excellent harness, no pulling what so ever.
Mark T.5/5Verified
Fantastic harness and by far exceeds the quality of any other harness we have purchased. Bully Billows will now be the brand for our girl going forwards! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lisa W.5/5Verified

The Bully-Billows Anti Pull Harness is amazing! Not only is it strong it’s also pretty! Maya loves her new harness and as she’s a large dog it makes me happy to know that she is safe and secure in her new harness!
M B.5/5Verified
I have 2 dogs as you will see on image however, I bought the harness for my Doberman, Rue. She is a bit of a puller to say the least and when you have over 40kg pulling on one arm, its not good. The harness along with the trainning lead has made so much of a difference and I can now enjoy a walk with them.as Rue does. Just need to get one for my Cocker Spaniel now.
The Bully Billows products are so well made as we also have collar and a combat lead aswell as a rope. THANK YOU TO THE BULLY BILLOWS TEAM
Nickola G.5/5Verified
We had been through every type of collar, slip leads, no pull harnesses from other companies and these are by far the best!! I wouldn’t say they are completely no pull but they do help to control the pulling! They are quite heavy so wouldn’t have got them when they were smaller puppies but they are perfect now! The quality is really worth the money and I know they will last for years! Really heavy duty for strong dogs and gives us confidence they are safe and secure at all times! Would definitely recommend the collars with the handles too for holding onto if needed, as our boy puppy is a little reactive so is perfect if we need to hold him still quickly!
Natalie S.5/5Verified
After only using the harness for a couple of weeks, I have found that my dog is easier to control when she wants to pull. So hopefully another few weeks using the harness should see more progress. Much better than the 2 previous ones bought locally.
Carolyn C.5/5Verified
Best harness you can get when your dog pulls on walks really good looking too fits perfectly and the material is really good recommended
Damian S.5/5Verified

Lisa B.5/5Verified
Feel like I’ve got a brand new dog! My puppy pulled like a train I dreaded walking her on the lead to the point where I would do off lead walks as my back couldn’t take the constant dragging and pulling 😅 The tri harness has transformed our walks no more pulling and walks by my side. I didn’t know what to expect as honestly I didn’t think a simple loop at the front of the harness would have such a massive impact but I couldn’t have been more wrong! If you’re in doubt just buy it because it truly works miracles! I recommend BullyBillows to everyone 🫶🏼
Sophie C.5/5Verified
When I first ordered the harness from bullybillows the wrong colour was sent. But upon speaking to Emma she quickly sorted the replacement harness and sent it next day delivery. So my girl didn't go without her walks. Thankyou Emma and the team, Bullybillows is the only harness and lead etc that I will ever use.
Paul S.5/5Verified
This harness is lovely!! Such a beautiful colour and has really helped with my staffie X American bulldog Mylas’ pulling.
My only suggestion is the size range, my Myla was in between sizes, however the small on the chest was 2inch too small but the medium on the neck was 10inchs too big🙈we opted for the small and while it fits her snuggly, if she grows or puts on any weight we would have to buy another size for her.
Overall lovely harness in a stunning colour! Would highly recommend☺️
Jasmine T.5/5Verified
Perfect fitting quality harness and padded comfort for my bully wouldn’t shop anywhere else I have many products from bullybillows and never been disappointed!
Lisa B.5/5Verified
Lovely harness with personalised writing for my blind dog. Fits really well and it's amazing quality.
Alex J.5/5Verified
Easy to put on, my dog looks very comfortable. I like the front D ring, she’s still a pup so bit big but adjusts really easy. Always happy with BB.
Sian R.5/5Verified
So much easier to walk her with it!
Danni B.5/5Verified
This harness is amazing! Our girl is very strong and can be reactive causing her to pull. This harness has made all the difference in her pulling and has made it so much easier to navigate her whilst on her walks.
It’s also a bonus that she loves her harness, her tail is wagging from the start of the walk to the end with her new attire! 😍
Courtney C.5/5
Best harnesses ever! My Old English bulldog needed a harness that can handle her strength and pulling. We put it on and almost instantly the pulling stopped and she was much easier to navigate. Same goes for my husky, she loves to take detours and will yank your arm off going a different direction, she quite literally has the “squirrel!!” Mentality. But this harness, along with their leashes, helped immediately with navigating her back on our path and prevents her from pulling in a ton of different directions. Great investment ever!

FAQs
How to put on a dog harness
Start by unbuckling the harness and having your dog sit or stand still next to you. Slip the harness over their head and pull the straps underneath their tummy. Or, if you have a step-in harness, place it on the floor and help your dog place their feet correctly, before pulling it up over their back. Fasten it up securely, making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, and adjust accordingly.
What is the best dog harness?
The best dog harness really depends on the breed, size, and activity level of your dog. The comfortable Hurricane Harness features a useful handle and is super lightweight, while the Premium Harness is a great all-rounder for any dog. The traditional slip-on harnesses offer quick and easy fitting, while step-in harnesses might be better for dogs that dislike harnesses going over their head. And if your dog pulls, the TRI-Harness helps with training to prevent excessive pulling on the lead. You can read more in our Dog Harness Buying Guide. All of our harnesses are lined with Neoprene which is soft and helps avoid harsh burns unlike other brands.
How to measure a harness for a dog
To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls.
If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.
How to use a dog harness correctly
To ensure you’re using your dog harness correctly, you need to make sure it’s properly fitted. This means that it’s tight enough to prevent the harness moving, but loose enough to allow your pooch to move comfortably. Attach your lead to your chosen D-ring, whether that’s on their back or their chest, and get ready for your adventure!
