About personalisation
Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.
When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.
Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.
We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?
1. They're unique to you and your dog.
2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.
3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.
4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.
The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 684 reviews.
I’m have had many different harnesses as my dog has grown, but this is my favourite.
I love the fit, and how lightweight it is on her.
She looks great in the Khaki green.
I have now purchased the multi wear lead to go with it.
Excellent fit and really good quality .
The harness is brilliant for controlling her pulling in the park and the collar is great for keeping her attention while walking to the park.
Excellent purchase , thank you and it looks great
Not only is this harness fantastic quality but it has actually stopped my dog from pulling, I use the double ended lead for road walks and a flexi lead for woodland walks, Living at the edge of a commercial shoot and having a Gundog is a nightmare with my previous harness if he got the scent of game bird a hare or deer it was like flying a kite he was all over the place, but with the Tri harness it’s like he knows when he reaches the end of the extending lead and he slows down & stops, I’m amazed, my walks are now a pleasure.
Thank you Bully Billows
Absolutely love it, really well made, Luna needs to be kept on a long lead for a while whilst she recovers from a cruciate problem and this harness is perfect.
This has been by far the best thing ive brought for my strong willed pocket bully. Absolutely brilliant especially with the double lead. Been a god send 💪🙏❤️
Initially, purchased the collar which is very durable, high quality and has a fabulous grab handle alongside the matching lead allowing a more controlled walk. The harness was a life saver, as it really helped to stop our puppy’s pulling and you have much better control and safety, also looks great! Purchased for a 6 month old Doberman.
Beryl was previously really funny about having other brands of harness put on, she would duck down or try avoid having it put on and never looked truly comfortable.
However since switching to Bully Billows we have not had any problems at all, she now activity waits when she see's her harness being got ready.
This harness is a game changer, works brilliantly for Beryl when she is out on the farm.
Strong and sturdy whilst not being cumbersome, it allows her a perfect range of movement which is essential for when she is out on the quad bike, in the fields or just going for a walk.
Beryl has had to have LOTS of orthopedic surgeries at a young age. This was sadly due to her Mum being neglected whilst pregnant and then Beryl being left for dead as a tiny puppy. Because of all these orthopedic issues it is really important she has the best range of movement.
Love Milos harness. Easy to use and perfectly padded. Helped massively with training and pulling, since using this harness we have better control and he is unable to pull as much so just gave up and now walks great after only 4 walks... Also looks great. LOVE LOVE LOVE
Purchased this harness with the double ended training lead to have more control over our strong staffy who likes to pull and can be reactive to other dogs. Brilliant harness I feel at ease and more confident to walk him in this 😊
Absolutely love this harness. My 11 month old pedigree staffy is 23kg, 18 inches tall, with a neck size of 50cm & chest at 67cm. Size B is Fits perfectly, although the chest strap is near maxing out. The harness is well made and I can even fit my Tractive on top. The harness tends to twist a bit, however this can be fixed if you have a double ended lead, such as the BB training lead. Simply attached one clip to the neck end of the harness and other to the rear ring or front anti-pulling ring (to the side with the buckle/clip). By the way, the front anti-pull ring reduces pulling for me. Hope this helps.
This is our 2cnd harness we’ve had from Bully Billows, they are brilliant! We have English Bull Terriers which are a very strong breed. The choice of rings to attach the lead make every different situation easier to control and put your mind at ease. They look fantastic too, several people have said how nice the Harness is and asked where it was from. Would highly recommend. We have the Khaki Green colour which looks gorgeous on our boy!
Tried and tried to get my little staffy to stop pulling for 4 years. nothing worked until I got this tri harness. as soon as I clipped onto the front ring all pulling disappeared my walks are much more enjoyable now.cant thankyou enough bully billows great robust adjustable product 😃👍
This harness is definitely better for walking my dog on her flexi. It gives a little more control then a normal harness would and I love the design/shape with the customisation compared to other harnesses.
I ordered one of these for my dog, in the hope it would stop him pulling..it gives a few options on where to clip the lead, so far the back ring seems to work. He still pulls, but definitely not as much. I will try it with a training lead though. Looks very good one, heavy and well made.
Really great quality and very well made - perfect for training our puppy and because it can be adjusted in all areas, it can grow with her. Very happy with purchase!
been struggling with jax’s pulling as he’s a very strong boy but this harness has literally saved my life (especially my arms)!! will never shut up about your brand
This is the 4th BB harness we‘ve had. Strong, durable and the front ring is great because Jax doesn’t pull. We have a red lead but unfortunately we find itvtoobshort
Loved the harness, was a little unsure about the shoulder fit on my 2 year old Kelpie. After a long stroll it is clearing fine and a perfect piece of gear for a working dog or any strong, pulling incline dog. She loves it and is far more into it to it then precious harnesses. I found our walk to be one of our most pleasurable. I love training on a collar with her but sometimes we both need our freedom to enjoy the walk without too much strong training structure.
Thanks Bully Billows would highly recommend this product.
Start by unbuckling the harness and having your dog sit or stand still next to you. Slip the harness over their head and pull the straps underneath their tummy. Or, if you have a step-in harness, place it on the floor and help your dog place their feet correctly, before pulling it up over their back. Fasten it up securely, making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, and adjust accordingly.
What is the best dog harness?
The best dog harness really depends on the breed, size, and activity level of your dog. The comfortable Hurricane Harness features a useful handle and is super lightweight, while the Premium Harness is a great all-rounder for any dog. The traditional slip-on harnesses offer quick and easy fitting, while step-in harnesses might be better for dogs that dislike harnesses going over their head. And if your dog pulls, the TRI-Harness helps with training to prevent excessive pulling on the lead. You can read more in our Dog Harness Buying Guide. All of our harnesses are lined with Neoprene which is soft and helps avoid harsh burns unlike other brands.
How to measure a harness for a dog
To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls.
If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.
How to use a dog harness correctly
To ensure you’re using your dog harness correctly, you need to make sure it’s properly fitted. This means that it’s tight enough to prevent the harness moving, but loose enough to allow your pooch to move comfortably. Attach your lead to your chosen D-ring, whether that’s on their back or their chest, and get ready for your adventure!
