About personalisation
Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.
When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.
Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.
We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?
1. They're unique to you and your dog.
2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.
3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.
4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.
The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

@swedishbulldogfamily
Finding products that our bulldogs genuinely feel comfortable wearing changed everything for us, and that’s exactly what BullyBillows gave us.
Love this harness, such a nice colour and very secure; amazing quality highly recommend bully billows! We wouldn’t go anywhere else and beau looks awesome🩷
I love and trust BullyBillow products, so I bought this harness for my reactive rescue Doberman Girl. Due to the chest size I had to get her a size C however on her neck I had to set it to the smallest and still there is a bit of a gap and when the leash is attached to the front ring the harness is a bit twisting to the side when she is pulling. I love it though. Amazingly its must better to control her than with using a collar. I also bought the matching slip lead for training. Thank you🙏
Always been a puller tried all sorts even a halting but that made her sore under her front legs. Tgisnis brilliant and she is comfortable and the pulling is less and less on every walk
Ordered a size B then we discovered she’s actually fatter than we thought so best we send the size B back and get the next size up (size C), we done so with such ease and we’re glad we did because it’ll last her a long time! She absolutely loves wearing it and it’s so easy to slip on and off of her! Excellent customer service!
Amazing quality, tough and strong, delivery was next day, it was well packaged and luna stands out from crowd with her set! Will definitely be buying from you again!
Absolutely brilliant products! It’s made walking my girl so much better with a harness and a double lead. I just wish they had more measurements as the neck size I needed was too small for the belly. It still fits her really well tho! Customer service is also brilliant :)
Have 2 dogs phoebe is the staffy I also have bluebell she's a whippet I have bought 4 harnesses from bullybillows because the quality is fantastic very strong so you know they will last no matter what your dogs do swimming rolling whatever would always recommend bullybillows
Bought for our rescue pup Beryl who is living up to her name and a bit feral!
This harness and collar really work.
She walks so much better on this harness than any we’ve tried before.
Thank you
As usual absolutely love the bullybillows quality and feel our dog loves it and the fit is perfect as always just wish bullybillows would do a range of matching muzzles to complement the leads and harnesses ☆☆☆☆☆
Lizzy loves her Bully harness. She looks so sweet too. I love how well made the harness is and the way it fits around Lizzie keeping her feeling safer. She wore a halti and she hated it I think she felt enclosed.
We both love our BullyBillows harness thank you gang 🐾🐾🐾
Can't recommend this harness enough. Fantastic quality, a great range of colours & easy to adjust. It really does work to help with pulling too, I couldn't believe how quickly our girl Jett took to it. We've got the Bully Billows collar already & this is perfect to use with it.
Ava is a long legged staffie. She's one of those girls that is in between sizes, but this harness I got is perfect as i could tighten the straps and it's still comfortable. She's very happy with it. I also got it in pink as she gets mistaken as boy... she still gets mistaken for boy haha
It’s amazing, I love the colours and how you can adjust it to fit perfectly, my girl Luna has quite a small head and neck for a Rottie but has the big chest and a long body so this was perfect as I could get it to fit her everywhere. Its strong and I don’t have to worry about her snapping it as she’s a puller!
Fits perfect, prevents her pulling when using the front loop and perfect quality. I have a lot of leads / collars from here so knew already dry the harness would be great.. did not disappoint!! Perfect 🩷
Very nice harnesses but, not sure about sizing , probably measured our dog wrong. Got size L for our 9 month old girl but didn't fit her , instead fits her brother well. He is slimmer and taller. Good quality and we love the colour.
The best harness we’ve used! It’s helped to control her pulling so much. We now find that she doesn’t pull even if she just uses her collar. A great training tool and we always recommend it to friends & family 🩷
After trying to find harnesses wide enough to comfortably fit my ddb, someone recommended Bully Billows and I'm so glad I ordered it, it fits her wonderfully
Start by unbuckling the harness and having your dog sit or stand still next to you. Slip the harness over their head and pull the straps underneath their tummy. Or, if you have a step-in harness, place it on the floor and help your dog place their feet correctly, before pulling it up over their back. Fasten it up securely, making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, and adjust accordingly.
What is the best dog harness?
The best dog harness really depends on the breed, size, and activity level of your dog. The comfortable Hurricane Harness features a useful handle and is super lightweight, while the Premium Harness is a great all-rounder for any dog. The traditional slip-on harnesses offer quick and easy fitting, while step-in harnesses might be better for dogs that dislike harnesses going over their head. And if your dog pulls, the TRI-Harness helps with training to prevent excessive pulling on the lead. You can read more in our Dog Harness Buying Guide. All of our harnesses are lined with Neoprene which is soft and helps avoid harsh burns unlike other brands.
How to measure a harness for a dog
To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls.
If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.
How to use a dog harness correctly
To ensure you’re using your dog harness correctly, you need to make sure it’s properly fitted. This means that it’s tight enough to prevent the harness moving, but loose enough to allow your pooch to move comfortably. Attach your lead to your chosen D-ring, whether that’s on their back or their chest, and get ready for your adventure!
