The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.

We love Marshall's new harness and we haven't had any complaints from him! It's easy to fit his harness and the harness fits him well. We needed a harness that's strong and durable because he is as strong as an Ox!! Marshall doesn't pull as much wearing this harness and it's easier for us to control him with the lead being attached to the top of the harness. Love the bright colours....everyone can see Marshall coming 🐶😍.

Absolute game-changer for strong pullers!Before finding this anti-pull harness, I tried countless products to manage my dog's walking habits. Fergal came to us as a rescue and was never taught to be on lead so we decided a harness would be best. I did lots of research and this harness came out on top. I purchased the size C. I red a review that theses sizes may come up small but Fergal needs to lose weight so I went for the snug fit knowing that I'd be able to tighten as he loses weight. As you can see from the photos, the straps are at max but I know he'll lose weight and the straps can be tightened. I am so impressed with the quality. The stitching and all the fittings and strength of clasps. It fits exceptionally well. The harness is very lightweight, ergonomically shaped and Fergal absolutely loves it. It's easy to fit and take off and I'm sure it'll be quick drying but haven't tested that yet. Overall, I feel you get what you pay for and the security needed when walking a big dog. I would highly recommend, in fact, I'm thinking of getting another in a different colour. So many colours, not enough dogs!

Koby is 10 and because he has an issue with his neck he has reduced sensation in front legs and isn't always sure where they are. He gets 'feedback' from his skin so too much harness means he can't walk. The deep 'V' on this harness means he has no restriction round his shoulders. Last week with his other harness he would have fallen on the uneven grass surface. This week there's no stopping him. Its perfect. Well fitting, easy to fasten and unfasten, handy handle when we have a disagreement about which way we're walking !!

Harness arrived yesterday and had our first walk with it this morning. It’s a revelation! We have a number of Bully Billows harnesses with rings located on the top of the harness (on the back of our dog). He had a tendency to pull and dictate the pace and direction of each walk. He also tried to lunge at other dogs that we passed. This new harness stops all of that! Would highly recommend. We’re actually going to purchase a few more in different colours as spares.

How to put on a dog harness

To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls. 

If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.
