The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.

The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

One of the few harnesses big enough for my Boerboel. Harness is a beautiful blue and orange. It seems sturdy and was relatively easy to adjust to size. Also light enough to keep my dog cool. Fits well. I love the large metallic rings for the leash…makes it easier to hook the dog seat belt.

So after lots of research we were looking for a quality harness for a Old English Sheepdog who loves to pull when she See's a cat. The harness fits great, doesn't pitch her coat and all the fittings are quality and well made. Bought the matching lead as well which is super comfortable. Found it hard in the past to find a quality harness that fits a large OES and this fits like a glove.

The placement of the buckles was right behind my dogs legs so it rubbed him. We bought the correct size it just wasn't as good a fit as the tri harness. We did reach out for support by email but got no response and then had to pay £7 for returning the item. It's a shame as we have used this company for a few years but won't be using in future.

I was really apprehensive about paying what I class as a lot of money for a Harness and double ended lead. How wrong I was. I got a Miniature Bull Terrier who was 3yr old and she pulled like mad after trying various different ways of trying to stop her pulling I decided to put the BULLY BILLOWS harness to the test. See if it was really as good as they make out and it most definitely is. I’ve had bully’s for over 20 years and this one definitely needed something special to help on walks. How to put on a dog harness

To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls.
