This BullyBillows Combat® Collar is 5cm wide and features a secure 6mm stainless steel D-ring and our signature-rated combat clip, which allows for quick release and locking.

Our Combat clips have been tested to withstand over 400 lbs of pressure, giving you peace of mind during your walks, that your dog is safe and secure. For added security, the clip can only be opened by pressing both levers simultaneously. In case of an emergency, you can utilize the double-stitched handle to gain control of your dog.

The collar is lined with neoprene, which is odourless, water-resistant, and gentle on your dog's fur, making it suitable for daily use with any breed, such as Staffies to Rottweilers.

This collar is also favoured by professional dog handlers, as well as police and military personnel due to the above reasons as well as being easily adjustable; simply thread the nylon through the metal adjuster to change the sizing.

The neck measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the collar is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

This 5cm width collar is suitable for slightly larger breeds such as large Staffies, Huskeys, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Cane Corso's and upwards. If your dog is smaller than these breeds, please see our 4cm and 2.5cm collar versions.

This signature BullyBillows Combat® Collar clip is designed to withstand hundreds of pounds of pressure. The clip will only open by the use of a human by pressing both levers of the clip. Once locked in, the clasp is further designed to stay in place at the end of the clip by two custom holes to ensure no movement during activities, walks or adventures.

The best dog collar really depends on the breed, size and activity level of your dog. Slip-on collars are great to assist training your dog that pulls, whereas a Combat collar is perfect for everyday use and comes in various thicknesses, from 2.5cm for smaller breeds to 5cm for XL breeds. Similar to harnesses, a dog collar should be snug but not too tight. We’d recommend being able to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck - if you can fit more than two fingers, the collar may be too loose and could slip off. If you can’t fit two fingers, it might be too tight for your dog causing discomfort and potentially breathing difficulties.

It’s a legal requirement for dogs to wear collars with ID tags when in public. The tag needs to display your name and address to help reunite you and your dog if they ever get lost. We know that a lot of owners prefer using harnesses, but a collar and ID tag are essential to comply with UK law when you’re out in public, so make sure you’ve got both on if needs be.

To measure a dog collar, wrap a flexible measuring tape around the base (the lower sections) of your dog’s neck whilst leaving enough room to fit two fingers in between. A lot of collars are adjustable, which is ideal for a puppy as you can simply extend the collar as they grow into it.
