Slip Training Lead | Anti Pull & No Choking - Khaki

Product description

Simple Control. Comfortable Handling. Smarter Training.

Meet the BullyBillows Slip Training Lead, designed to make everyday walks and training sessions simple and convenient. Combining a firmly woven nylon construction with a bespoke swivel mechanism and adjustable rubber stopper, it offers a practical solution for handling your dog without the need for a separate collar or harness.

360° Anti-Tangle Swivel
Dogs rarely walk in a straight line, which can leave standard leads twisted and tangled. Our bespoke swivel mechanism moves with your dog, helping to reduce twisting as they change direction and making walks and training sessions easier to manage.

Adjustable Fit & Greater Control
The bespoke rubber stopper allows you to adjust the loop to fit your dog’s head and neck, helping to keep the lead in position during use. Once adjusted, the stopper is designed to resist slipping out of place, giving you a more consistent fit and greater control while handling your dog.

Made for Everyday Use & Training
With no separate collar or harness required, the Slip Training Lead is convenient for short walks, training sessions, quick toilet breaks and supervised transfers. Its durable, firmly woven nylon construction offers a balance of structure and flexibility, allowing you to handle your dog while still allowing natural movement.

Key Features

  • 1.2m length
  • 1.2cm diameter
  • Firmly woven nylon construction
  • Bespoke swivel mechanism helps reduce twisting and tangling
  • Adjustable neck loop with a bespoke rubber stopper
  • Designed for everyday handling and training
  • Convenient to use without a separate collar or harness

Important: A slip lead tightens under tension and must be used carefully. Ensure the loop is correctly fitted and never leave your dog unattended while wearing it. It should not be used in a way that places sustained pressure on your dog’s neck.

Pippen is a happy, strong young dog. We realised we need to engage in positive life time training with her. She is enrolled in agility and doing great - however there were a couple basics that still needed attention. If she can run a poly tunnel then jump 3 hurdles, she absolutely can walk beside us on lead and stop jumping up for greetings. This lead is excellent. We first trialed a cheaper slip lead for a week and when we realised how effective this type of lead is for Pippen we bought the sturdier Bully Billows version. It is thicker, stronger, has a way better hand strap so no rubbing, and of course the swivel head is excellent. Really should have got this lead when she first came into our lives! We love Bully Billows and will always return to your shop if we need anything for Pippen. Thanks

Bought the Bullybillows slip lead for Cooper, our 3 year old English Bulldog. We've used Bullybillows harnesses for the last 3 years and for the most part Cooper walks well, although can be prone to pulling if he gets excited, maybe meeting other dogs & definitely when going to his favourite place, the park. I was a bit apprehensive at first with Cooper being so used to the harness & the neck placement and Bulldog's necks being thicker. A video is provided by Bullybillows on how best to use the lead and I can honestly say it's worked wonders & Cooper didn't have any issues adjusting. As with all Bullybillows products, the lead is strong & durable, not to mention looks good, too. Would definitely recommend.

Love the Lead I bought, i have used a rope lead for a while but since having the Puppy, i found it hard to walk both dogs without my hands hurting from the leads i had. I opted for the twisting lead as the pup walks all over sniffing and i really liked the fact the handle was flat and not rounded. The rounded one hurts my hand quite a bit. The Green one is really comfortable to hold, and works a treat on walks. I can will be swopping the other lead for the same style in the very near future. The lead is very good quality. So glad this was available to buy

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
