Slip Training Lead | Anti Pull & No Choking - Light Tan

Product description

Simple Control. Comfortable Handling. Smarter Training.

Meet the BullyBillows Slip Training Lead, designed to make everyday walks and training sessions simple and convenient. Combining a firmly woven nylon construction with a bespoke swivel mechanism and adjustable rubber stopper, it offers a practical solution for handling your dog without the need for a separate collar or harness.

360° Anti-Tangle Swivel
Dogs rarely walk in a straight line, which can leave standard leads twisted and tangled. Our bespoke swivel mechanism moves with your dog, helping to reduce twisting as they change direction and making walks and training sessions easier to manage.

Adjustable Fit & Greater Control
The bespoke rubber stopper allows you to adjust the loop to fit your dog’s head and neck, helping to keep the lead in position during use. Once adjusted, the stopper is designed to resist slipping out of place, giving you a more consistent fit and greater control while handling your dog.

Made for Everyday Use & Training
With no separate collar or harness required, the Slip Training Lead is convenient for short walks, training sessions, quick toilet breaks and supervised transfers. Its durable, firmly woven nylon construction offers a balance of structure and flexibility, allowing you to handle your dog while still allowing natural movement.

Key Features

  • 1.2m length
  • 1.2cm diameter
  • Firmly woven nylon construction
  • Bespoke swivel mechanism helps reduce twisting and tangling
  • Adjustable neck loop with a bespoke rubber stopper
  • Designed for everyday handling and training
  • Convenient to use without a separate collar or harness

Important: A slip lead tightens under tension and must be used carefully. Ensure the loop is correctly fitted and never leave your dog unattended while wearing it. It should not be used in a way that places sustained pressure on your dog’s neck.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 52 reviews.

I bought many items from BB , all great , this leash however as good quality as it is , is not great for training. The structured walk anti pull leash should be soft so you can easily correct the dog, this leash is stiff and rubbery and is difficult to apply a “ pop” if needed. It will come to good use, I’m sure ,just not at the stage we’re at .

Slip Training Lead | Anti Pull & No Choking - Light Tan

Such good quality. Great that it has a stopper so he can’t worm out of it. I thought it had a stopper to stop it from getting too tight though and it doesn’t! But nevertheless a great purchase and super nice colour too

Slip Training Lead | Anti Pull & No Choking - Light Tan

Even though I have been using a slip lead with my Labrador pup she had starting pulling when heading home from our walks which concerned me with her wearing a slip lead & was considering changing to a harness however having now used the Bully billows slip lead she is so much better & the quality of the lead & the swivel handle is fantastic , highly recommend this lead .

Slip Training Lead | Anti Pull & No Choking - Light Tan

Our puppy is in training but is a big boy so this is helping if he tries to pull. We have felt the role itself to hold is much more comfortable than other ones we’ve tried :) he’s being a good boy with his new lead! x

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
