Product description

Introducing the Slip Lead that everyone is talking about. Are you in?

We are excited to present our latest design: an anti-tangle slip lead that is both rigid enough for walking your dog and supple enough to allow free movement. As your dog moves in different directions, the lead won't tangle thanks to our bespoke swivel mechanism, which works in harmony with your dog's movements, eliminating the common issue of tangled leads.

The unique rubber stopper locks into place, so once you have adjusted it to fit around your dog's neck and head, it will stay securely in position. This feature allows you to maintain greater control over your dog.

Our lead is easy and convenient to use, making it perfect for crate transfers, potty breaks, and training—no collar or harness is needed.

It is designed to fit all types of breeds, with a durable construction made from firmly woven nylon for maximum quality.

Specifications:

  • Length: 1.2 meters
  • Diameter: 1.2 cm
  • Bespoke rubber band to prevent the lead from becoming loose and limp.

Omg, I'm on cloud nine. My rescue Staffy X used to take me for a power walk, constantly pulling me along, but now we walk side by side. In the beginning, he would pull, then start choking until he realised it's not a nice feeling, so he learnt very fast! I felt like crying because it was such a relief not to have my dog pull the whole way through our one-hour walk! Amazing product and we will go again tomorrow to test it out again! Highly recommend getting one! Thank you!

Hands down the best slip lead we’ve tried! Our 1yr old GSD can pull a lot greeting other dogs/when the puppy excitement kicks in. Others we have tried have been uncomfortable for but me to hold and for her to have on, causing choking with strong pulls. 3 days in to using and she has been comfortable and behaving so well with this and have not found any excessive pulling. Perfect length and the quality/packaging is faultless! I rarely leave reviews but finding quality and comfortable training accessories that also look good for large breeds is so hard for an adorable price

Got a 32kilo Staffordshire ( long legs ). Always pulls but with this slip lead he doesn’t. Because it’s thick enough ( not like the other slip Leads that are too thin. Rubber setting for next size is perfect. And handle that swivels. Great lead. Very impressed x

My nervous 1 year old rescue dog was not used to lead walks but this has changed the game for us. No more sore hands and shoulders for me battling against her pulling the whole way. I would recommend this to anyone who is struggling with walks. We are using the figure of eight with instant improvement. Best £20 I've spent on her and the handle is very comfortable unlike some training leads

Rottweilers are big strong dogs ....and my pup, although very friendly, would drag me about if anyone engaged with me. He also has a bad habit of eating anything he sees. The bully training slip lead is perfect because I can turn it into a figure of 8 which onerous his head and instantly stopped him pulling. Its soft but strong and a perfect length for heel walking. Would recommend.

This is a day I never thought I’d see. Frank walking with a slack lead. Yes, he still pulls a little but we’ve only had this lead a week. The first walk we did with it saw a huge change in his pulling. It was like magic as he was a steam train beforehand. Definitely worth the money if only to save our poor, ageing backs being pulled :)

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
