Product description

The BullyBillows Training Double-Ended Lead is a multi-functional, double-ended lead that can be used in 8 different ways. For both daily use and professional use.

  1. Short length for heel training or normal walking.
  2. Medium length for obedience training.
  3. Long length for recall or distance work.
  4. Hands-free dog training.
  5. Two dogs on one lead – making use of the double-ended clasps.
  6. Easy, supervised tethering.
  7. Double steering for optimum control.

We recommend using this in conjunction with our TRI-Harnesses as this lead can be attached to the front and back D-Loops which is used to assist in training and aid to help eliminate if your dog pulls.

However, we also recommend it for use with any BullyBillows collars and leads as it's perfect to take advantage of the short length for normal walking, and medium & long length for obedience training or distance work. You can also put two dogs on this lead making use of the double-ended clasps.

All hardware is Stainless Steel which has our BullyBillows lifetime rust proof guarantee.

We have been buying bully billows merch for a wee while now as our 9 month old Bear is a big boy. I have never been disappointed yet. Recently we got the anti pull harness and the double sided leash and using both together I have definitely noticed a change for the better. I also had to exchange a size and BullyBillows made the transition so easy to follow. Highly recommend this brand.

I love how versatile this leash is. I use all lengths for our walks. At night time I like to use the middle ring to clip night lights. Where I live is extremely dark and having that ring for other attachments just gives this leash a chef's kiss!

Customer photo review of Double Ended Training Lead | All Breeds - Durable & Soft 2m Lead - Red

After adding our female boxer it was clear that she had never been walked with a harness and was terrible on a collar only so we started with a slip on BB harness. I wanted something to be able to control any pulling so switched them both to the tri harnesses. With the BB harnesses I can walk them with more control. I added the traffic lead for him as he is nervous so allows full control when he feels nervous. Would have got matching for them both but the purple is out of stock!

I just got a 2 year old very strong 70 lb black Lab rescue. I'm a petite 5'3" gal and was having a hard time walking and controlling him with a regular leash. I LOVE LOVE this leash. I connect one end to his collar and the other to his harness and no problem walking and controlling him. I feel so much more confident using this to train him. Worth the 2 week wait for delivery to the US :)

This lead is fabulous. It’s beautifully soft to hold but very secure and strong, the many length options make it so versatile and useful when training a puppy. It also matches Nala’s Bully Billows collar, so, she looks like a beautiful lady in red ❤️

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
