Product description

7 Ways to Train. One Versatile Lead.

Designed for versatility, the BullyBillows Training Double Ended Lead offers seven different ways to use one practical lead. Whether you’re enjoying everyday walks, working on obedience or training recall, its adjustable configurations give you flexibility to suit your training needs.

7 Ways to Use
Adapt the lead to suit different situations, from everyday walking to more focused training sessions.

  1. Short Length: Ideal for heel training and everyday walking.
  2. Medium Length: Suitable for obedience training.
  3. Long Length: Offers greater distance for recall and distance work.
  4. Hands-Free Use: Allows hands-free handling when used in a suitable configuration.
  5. Supervised Tethering: Provides convenient options when used appropriately under supervision.
  6. Double Steering: Attach both ends to suitable points to help guide your dog and maintain control.
  7. Duo-Walking: Connect both dogs to both ends of the lead, connecting another lead in the middle.

Designed for Training & Everyday Walks
Pair the Training Double Ended Lead with our TRI-Harnesses by attaching the ends to the front and back D-loops. This configuration can help you guide your dog during training and manage pulling.

The double-ended design also makes it suitable for use with BullyBillows collars and other compatible walking equipment. With multiple length options, you can switch between closer control and additional freedom as your walk or training session requires.

You can also use the two clasps to connect two dogs, provided the configuration is suitable for both dogs, to maintain safe control.

Comfortable, Durable Hardware
Made from soft woven nylon, the lead is comfortable to hold during walks and training sessions. The stainless steel hardware is covered by the BullyBillows lifetime rust-proof guarantee, giving you added confidence in its durability.

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
