About personalisation
Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.
When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.
Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.
We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?
1. They're unique to you and your dog.
2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.
3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.
4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

Product description
What is a Traffic Lead?
The BullyBillows Traffic Lead is a short, padded lead designed for securely tethering dogs in the car or for close control in challenging situations. It features a bespoke clip that is user-friendly, allowing you to easily attach and detach it from any harness or collar.
The Traffic Lead is specifically designed to allow you to safely secure your dog while in the vehicle. To use, simply slide the safety belt through the traffic lead's handle and fasten the safety belt. Then, clip the lead onto your dog's harness to ensure that your dog is securely attached to the seat. This setup also helps you comply with legal requirements regarding securing dogs in vehicles.
Additionally, the Traffic Lead is often used to maintain control of dogs in close quarters. It is equipped with a strong handle, a durable clip, and no slack in the middle, which helps you manage dogs that pull hard or maintain control of lively dogs, particularly in confined or risky environments.
The Traffic Lead includes a padded handle lined with neoprene for added comfort, protecting your hands during use.

Wish I got one sooner! Mack is so small so we needed a longer Traffic leash and this is absolutely perfect for in the pet store or high Traffic areas!! 😍
I have an 11 month old Labrador that is fully of energy and extremely strong. Living near a very busy road which I have to cross at least once a day, I needed a shorter lead so that I could keep her close to me at all times. I need to mention here that I an a great user of slip leads, but when walking along a narrow pavement of a busy road where cars and large trucks tend to put their foot down - I was after addition security for my dog. In addition, if something did frighten her such as a car back-firing, I had the ability to get her under control very quickly. I tried out the Adjustable Combat® Traffic Lead this afternoon and it is simply fantastic. It is short enough so that my dogs rib cage just lightly brushes the side of my leg. The clasp is heavy duty, plus the lead itself is extremely strong. For me - purchasing this lead was money well spent - my dog walks superbly when using it and I am in no doubt that I have absolute control - highly recommended.
This traffic lead has help with more control in busy areas, especially because my dog hates bikes and can be reactive to them.this has been a game changer.we attach his lead to this and this to his harness.brilliant!!!
Great traffic lead, the only adjustable one I could find. I must admit I was a little unsure about the clasp but, I didn't have to, it feels ultra safe, my pocket bully is a very strong boy, so it's had a good testing,
I would fully recommend.
It works with a wheelchair!
The handle stays securely around my wrist but doesn’t get in the way, and there’s zero chance of either dog or lead getting wrapped around my wheel.
Also, as someone with pretty rubbish hands, the clip is an absolute dogsend. I now want to use them on everything.
Great product. Nice and sturdy. Opening the packages was exciting. The products were well presented. Highly recommend and will be purchasing more of their products.
Great quality lead, but unfortunately too short for me. Which was my fault, I wanted a shorter lead for busy areas, and with a taller dog it will be perfect, I'm only 5'5 and I was leaning over walking with my staffy. If it had been 10 -15cm longer it would have been spot on, maybe it was me not looking properly , but I couldn't see the length listed online in the description like the other leads are.
To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.
Do dogs have to be on a lead?
Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.
What is the best lead for dogs that pull?
If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.
How long should a lead be?
The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
