About personalisation
Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.
When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.
Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.
We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?
1. They're unique to you and your dog.
2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.
3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.
4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.
The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 33 reviews.
This is my second slip on harness for Albert, and my fifth harness altogether.
I took advantage of the discount on this colour. As with all the Bullybillows products it is very well made and easy to clean. Albert is a " roller " so a quick wipe or a soap and water clean brings it back to life again. Padded where needed and easy to put on . Fantastic 👏
The harness looks good and smokey seems to like it. It may seem slightly loose on him but the design itself is faultless. Number 6 he's got on, he could possibly could have squeezed into a 5.
Really easy to put on and take off.
I bought this harness Staffy, and I’m really impressed with it. The sizing is perfect, and the soft foam padding makes it comfortable for him to wear. Normally, he isn’t a fan of harnesses, but this one goes on so quickly and easily that he doesn’t make a fuss. The colour really pops against his coat and looks fantastic.
It feels solid and well put together, and Otis walks beautifully in it without any rubbing or irritation. I’m really pleased with the quality and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a harness that combines comfort, durability, and style.
I got this for my 3 year old Staffy, Otis, and it’s brilliant. The fit is spot on and the foam padding makes it really comfortable for him. Otis usually doesn’t enjoy having harnesses put on, but this design is so quick and easy to slip over that he doesn’t fuss at all. The colour looks great against his coat and really stands out.
It feels sturdy and well made, and he walks really nicely in it with no rubbing or discomfort. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend to other dog owners looking for a harness that’s both practical and stylish.
The harness fits well, our staffy is only 6 1/2 months and this is the 3rd harness I have bought for him from Bully Billows. He's still got a lot of growing to do and the harnesses have plenty of growth room in them.
The padding is great on them makes it feel so comfortable for him.
Bought the neon harness and neon lead but the colours are nothing like they might aswell be black and white, the qaulity as with everything bully billows is fantastic it's just a pitty these don't match
Willows got the matching lead to this to she pulls back cause her legs are slowly getting worse doesn't stop her hopping full speed when she goes for a ball
We love these harnesses. Our original set were looking a bit tatty so we decided to replace with some new ones. We haven't had any other harnesses that are so well made and comfortable for the dogs. Great product.
Start by unbuckling the harness and having your dog sit or stand still next to you. Slip the harness over their head and pull the straps underneath their tummy. Or, if you have a step-in harness, place it on the floor and help your dog place their feet correctly, before pulling it up over their back. Fasten it up securely, making sure it’s not too tight or too loose, and adjust accordingly.
What is the best dog harness?
The best dog harness really depends on the breed, size, and activity level of your dog. The comfortable Hurricane Harness features a useful handle and is super lightweight, while the Premium Harness is a great all-rounder for any dog. The traditional slip-on harnesses offer quick and easy fitting, while step-in harnesses might be better for dogs that dislike harnesses going over their head. And if your dog pulls, the TRI-Harness helps with training to prevent excessive pulling on the lead. You can read more in our Dog Harness Buying Guide. All of our harnesses are lined with Neoprene which is soft and helps avoid harsh burns unlike other brands.
How to measure a harness for a dog
To measure your dog for a harness, grab a measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of their ribcage, then measure their neck at the base (where the collar sits and not in the middle of the neck). Make sure that the measurements aren’t too tight, but are secure enough that the harness won’t slip off if your dog pulls.
If you have the harness already, try it on your dog and make sure you can fit two fingers between the harness and their body. Finally, monitor your dog’s behaviour - if they’re showing signs of discomfort or walking awkwardly, it may need adjusting more to suit your dog.
How to use a dog harness correctly
To ensure you’re using your dog harness correctly, you need to make sure it’s properly fitted. This means that it’s tight enough to prevent the harness moving, but loose enough to allow your pooch to move comfortably. Attach your lead to your chosen D-ring, whether that’s on their back or their chest, and get ready for your adventure!
