7 Ways to Lead: One Tool, Total Control

Designed for both daily strolls and professional k9 training, this 2-meter multi-functional lead adapts to your lifestyle instantly:

  • Short Length: Perfect for precision heel training and high-traffic walking.
  • Medium Length: Ideal for focused obedience sessions.
  • Long Length: Gives your dog freedom for recall and distance work.
  • Hands-Free: Easily wrap for waist-worn training or over-the-shoulder hiking.
  • Supervised Tethering: Quick and easy securement when you need a "stay."
  • Double Steering: Attach to a harness for maximum steering leverage.
  • Ultimate Versatility: Use as a standard lead with a soft-grip handle.

The BullyBillows Quality Standard

We don’t compromise on hardware. Even in this lighter version, every clasp and ring is forged from Strengthened Aluminium.

Pro Tip: For the ultimate "No-Pull" experience, pair this lead with our TRI-Harness. Attach one end to the front D-loop and the other to the back to unlock Double Steering, helping you gently redirect your dog’s momentum without strain.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.4 / 5 from 7 reviews.

Very good quality, plenty of room to grow for my pup and arrived in good time, lovely colour - although would love it if you could add blue for the boys, you have plenty of girl coloured options. You show a photo of the lead wrapped around a women's waist, unless you have a 6" waist, i don't see how the lead could possibly fit round somebody's waist, it's very mis leading, I was really wanting a lead to have the option of going round my waist.

Lightweight Training Double Ended Dog Lead | 2m Length - Olive Green

It’s good quality but the measurements and positioning of the rings make no sense. The chap in the video easily connects it around his waist and also over his shoulder. But he must be a stick man… I’m an average sized person but there is no configuration that fits my waist. If I use it in the wider shoulder connection point it means that the remainder of the lead too short to use as a lead… unless my dog is happy to stick to me like glue, (which he is not) I can only assume that I’ve been sent stock that slipped past quality control inspection because this training lead cannot be used the way it is advertised. I’m pretty disappointed because it looked perfect for what I needed. It’s definitely well made, but the distance between the connection points are for a child sized human only.

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
