Product description

Adjustable. Tangle-Free. Built for Everyday Walks.

Take the hassle out of dog walking with the Adjustable Snap Hook Lead, designed to give you the perfect balance of freedom, control and ease of use.

With an adjustable length of 1.4m to 2.5m from handle to clasp, you can easily adapt the lead to suit your walking style and give your dog more freedom when needed, while keeping you in control.

Comfort Meets Versatility

The soft yet robust handle provides a comfortable grip, making the lead ideal for everyday walks, whether you're heading out for a quick stroll or a longer adventure.

A built-in D-loop on the handle adds even more versatility. When you're not holding the lead, simply clip it back onto the D-loop and wear it across your body as a figure-of-eight lead to keep your hands free when your pup is off exploring in a secure area.

Our New Mechanical Snap Hook

At the heart of the lead is our newly designed mechanical snap hook clip, created for simple, reliable and effortless use.

The textured clip clasp provides improved grip, making it easier to operate in cold or wet weather, while the integrated 360° swivel allows the clip to rotate as your dog moves, helping to prevent the lead from twisting and tangling.

Comfortable in All Conditions

The lead features a Neoprene lining, providing a soft and comfortable feel while offering quick-drying and odour-resistant properties.

Whether you're walking in the rain or heading out on a muddy adventure, the Neoprene lining helps keep the lead comfortable and pleasant to use.

One Lead, Multiple Possibilities

Designed to pair effortlessly with any of our collars or harnesses, the Adjustable Snap Hook Lead is a versatile addition to your dog-walking kit.

From everyday walks to hands-free adventures, it's built to give you greater flexibility without compromising on comfort or control.

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
