About personalisation

Important - Creating your unique look with our bespoke stitching/engraving quality could take us up to 7-10 working days to complete, it's well worth the wait though.

When customising the Combat Range, the adjuster may cover part of the text. The best way to help avoid this is to choose the smallest size which will fit your dog; the adjuster will then be located at the end of the collar away from the name.

Preview images are for illustration only, text and Icons will always be centered neatly on the product. Colours and fonts may change very slightly during production.

We offer personalisation option on almost all of our Collars, Leads and Harnesses. What are the key benefits of adding personalisation to your BullyBillows gear?

1. They're unique to you and your dog.

2. If you have multiple dogs, adding your dogs name can help to distinguish which collar is for which dog.

3. Adding a phone number and Social handle in the unfortunate event of your dog getting lost, this is a very powerful way to ensure your dog can be tracked back to you.

4. If you have a working dog, nervous dog or one who just loves to jump, you can enter names such as POLICE DOG, WARNING, DO NOT PET, NERVOUS etc.

1.2m Mini Combat® Lead - Black

Product description

Compact Control. Maximum Comfort.

Keep your dog close without compromising on comfort with the BullyBillows 1.2m Mini Combat® Lead. Designed for everyday walks and closer handling, this compact lead combines a durable construction, padded Neoprene-lined handle and signature Combat® clip to deliver practical performance with the distinctive BullyBillows design.

The Ideal Length for Close Control
Measuring 1.2m from top to bottom, this lead offers a practical balance between keeping your dog close and allowing room to move naturally during walks. Its 3cm width provides a substantial feel in your hand, making it a great option for everyday outings where closer handling is preferred.

360° Anti-Tangle Mechanism
Dogs naturally change direction as they explore. The lead's anti-tangle swivel mechanism moves with your dog's movements, helping to reduce twisting and tangling while you walk.

The bespoke Combat® clip features a locking mechanism designed for convenient attachment and release from a compatible collar or harness, combining practical functionality with the signature BullyBillows design.

Padded Comfort with Neoprene
Comfort is built into the design. The inside of the lead and handle feature foam padding covered with Neoprene, the same material commonly used in wetsuits. Soft to the touch, quick-drying and odourless, this lining provides a comfortable grip for everyday walks and helps reduce the risk of friction burns if the lead is grabbed quickly.

Complete the Matching Look
Pair your Mini Combat® Lead with any compatible BullyBillows collar, or complete the look with our matching RR Slip-On Harnesses and RR Slip-On Collars. Whether you prefer a coordinated set or a contrasting colour combination, it's easy to bring your dog's walking gear together.

I love the clasp makes it easy to hook and very durable. Gotti is a puller and he weighs 85lbs so it's strong enough not to pop. It's soft comfortable handle is perfect and I love how it pivots so not to get tangled

Customer photo review of 1.2m Mini Combat® Lead - Black

This lead is amazing and great quality. I ordered the hurricane harness and this lead as well as the collar and traffic lead. My dog is comfortable in them and isn't pulling anywhere near as much as she used to. I absolutely love BullyBillows products and will continue to purchase from them.

1.2m Mini Combat® Lead - Black

The lead is great and strong for a big dog (Rottweiler). The only downfall is because my dog can pull the black metal starts rubbing away and I’ve only used it 3 times so I can imagine it’s not going to look the best in a few months which is disappointing as it wasn’t cheap otherwise good lead

1.2m Mini Combat® Lead - Black

Good quality but the grip handle wares away and could do with a better ware resistant material which would result in an excellent product worthy of 5 Stars

1.2m Mini Combat® Lead - Black

As always absolutely brilliant 🤩 everything I’ve ever bought is top quality. Very robust lead, although my Staffie is very well behaved, should an incident ever occur, I’m assured that the strength will hold. The swivel is excellent and a handy extra, very comfortable to hold. Top marks!

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
