3M Lighter Swivel Combat® Lead

Product description

Extended Reach. Lightweight Control.

The BullyBillows 3m Lighter Swivel Combat® Lead combines the trusted design of our iconic Combat® range with an extended length, giving your dog more freedom to explore while helping you maintain control.

At 3 metres long, it offers a practical balance between a standard walking lead and a longer training line, making it ideal for open spaces, training sessions and everyday adventures where a little extra reach is needed.

Lightweight Design. Built for Strength.
Designed with our Lighter construction, this lead offers extended reach without feeling unnecessarily heavy or cumbersome. Made from heavy-duty nylon, it combines a lightweight feel with the durability expected from BullyBillows Combat® gear.

The lead and its hardware have been pressure-tested, with the design intended to withstand forces of hundreds of pounds, providing dependable performance during walks and training.

360° Anti-Tangle Swivel
Our 360° swivel mechanism rotates freely as your dog moves, helping to prevent the lead from twisting and tangling when they circle, explore or change direction.

This means less time untangling your lead and more time enjoying your walk, whether you're exploring open parkland or practising training exercises.

Comfortable Neoprene Lining
The handle and interior of the lead feature soft Neoprene lining, providing a comfortable feel during everyday use. Neoprene is quick-drying and odour-resistant, helping keep the lead comfortable and pleasant to handle after wet walks and muddy adventures.

Secure Combat® Clip
Finished with our signature Combat® Clip, the lead features a quick-release locking mechanism designed to provide a secure connection to your dog's collar or harness while remaining easy to operate.

Combined with the pressure-tested hardware and anti-tangle swivel, it offers the practical functionality needed for everyday walking and training.

More Freedom for Every Adventure
The extended 3m length gives your dog additional room to sniff, explore and practise distance-based training, while allowing you to bring them closer when the situation calls for it.

From open park walks to training sessions, the 3m Lighter Swivel Combat® Lead brings together extended reach, lightweight handling and the dependable design BullyBillows is known for.

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
